If you like the idea of driving a Mercedes, but you don't have the money to go out and buy a brand new one, you might be interested in looking at the discounts on offer for pre-registered models.

We currently have 20 pre-registered Mercedes cars available on BuyaCar, each has only covered a handful miles and is practically brand new. The only difference with a pre-reg car is that it will already have a first owner listed on their documentation (normally a dealership working to hit their sales targets), but this will often make them much cheaper to purchase than their brand-new equivalents.

There are some big discounts available on popular Mercedes models such as the A-Class, C-Class and E-Class, and they're all available right now on BuyaCar for delivery right to your door. If saving a few thousand pounds on a shiny new Mercedes sounds like a good idea to you, head down to take a look at the pre-registered deals we have available.

You can make a straightforward cash purchase, or take advantage of our low rate finance deals to grab yourself an affordable new set of wheels. Read on for more details.

The Mercedes A-Class is an upmarket rival to the BMW 1 Series and Audi A3. It's an expensive family hatchback with a prestigious badge and plenty of interior tech, but the availability of great value pre-reg deals help to bring that cost down.

If you're looking at the A200d with its 150hp diesel engine, you're opting for an A-Class at the more economical end of the scale. In terms of performance it's one of the slower versions in the range - the 2.0-litre engine powers from 0-62mph in 8.1 seconds, but it does return fuel economy figures of 56.5mpg. That's not to say that the petrol-powered versions aren't economical: the 1.3-litre A180 and A200 models btoh promise between 45-50mpg.

If you're keen for efficient and comfortable driving, AMG Line trim is likely to meet your needs. It comes with heated front sports seats, dual-zone climate control, tinted glass rear windows, the Mercedes 'MBUX' media system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a reversing camera with parking assist.

Pre-registered Mercedes GLB deals

Mercedes GLB deals Limited stock

The GLB seven-seater SUV was designed to be practical and spacious from the get-go, part of the reason behind its distinctive boxy design. It's similar to the Land Rover Discovery Sport, Peugeot 5008 and Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace, though it can be more expensive to buy.

Thanks to strong residual values, PCP finance can be particularly attractive, and there's little need to go for a more expensive trim with all versions coming with a reversing camera, heated seats in the front and bright LED headlights

The GLB 200 uses the same 1.3-litre petrol engine found in the A-Class, but if you're likely to fill all seven seats regularly the diesel-powered GLB 200d or GLB 220d models should be able to deal with the extra weight. The performance-orientated Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 is certainly quick for this size car, but expect below 30mpg.

There's no plug-in hybrid GLB, however two electric versions with 228hp or 292hp promise well over 200 miles from a full charge. Mercedes markets this as a separate car: the EQB.

Pre-registered Mercedes GLC deals

Mercedes GLC deals Limited stock

There are pre-registered examples of the GLC and GLC Coupe on BuyaCar: a choice of two bodystyles depending on whether you need a practical SUV with a large boot or a sporty-looking model.

Entry-level versions come with LED headlights, fake leather seats, three-zone climate control and a 10.25-inch touchscreen media system. If you're in need of a large boot, the regular GLC is a sensible option with 550 litres of space - 50 litres more than the GLC Coupe. Both models sacrifice 150-155 litres of space in plug-in hybrid form to accommodate the additional batteries.

The regular engines are 2.0-litre units; diesel-powered models are capable of over 40mpg while the petrol model struggles to top 30mpg. There are petrol and diesel plug-in hybrid options capable of around 25 miles from a full charge, which could cost as little as £1 on an off-peak energy rate. Avoid the performance AMG models unless you're prepared to deal with regular stops at the petrol station.
