Beige Cars
Beige cars will easily draw attention from passersby. Not in a flashy ‘look at me’ kind of way, but in a more subtly fashionable, chic manner.
This is largely thanks to beige being a natural colour - with sand, animals such as deer and wood often fitting into the beige colour range.
Even though beige can really make a car shine, it isn’t as popular as other colours such as white, grey or black. When it comes to beige shades there are a couple of main types. There are those with a golden tinge, those with a more nude or sandy colour and those that are classed as rose gold. All look classy but the latter is by far and away the rarest.
Beige paint typically comes as either ‘flat’ or ‘metallic’ so looking after the paint through regular cleaning is very easy - you only need a bucket, sponge, some car shampoo and a hose pipe. Or, of course, a local hand car wash.
When looking for a good beige car there is a choice of practical SUVs, cheap to run hatchbacks and even a seven-seat people carrier. If you have won the lottery there are also supercars to choose from.
Not all beige cars are born equal, so there are a couple of tips to keep in mind when shopping for your next vehicle. Beige is generally less popular than hues such as black or white, which means that there might be less competition for any beige cars you're considering.
However, if you're looking to pay cash or opting for a finance option where you own the car at the end of the contract, it's worth bearing in mind that this will also limit the market when you come to sell the car - so you may get less money back or find it harder to sell the car.
