Yellow Cars
Yellow cars do not blend into the background - they turn heads, shoulders, knees and toes but only the best yellow cars can actually pull off such attention-grabbing paintwork.
It is fair to say that over the years there has been a decent helping of stunning yellow cars. There has also been an equally decent helping of yellow cars that are best described as visual disasters, with the bright paint doing nothing to improve the looks of particularly ugly models.
The shade of yellow used on a car can have a profound impact on its second-hand price and even impact how quickly it loses value going forwards. Of all the cars on the road, yellow cars make up a tiny minority. That is not to say they are undesirable. Often people choose a yellow car out of a love for the colour rather than a need for a specific model.
That said, it is important to keep in mind that some yellows are more popular than others, while some cars do a much better job of pulling off such a bright colour than others, too.
For some makes and models, yellow paint can be more expensive than the other available colours. This could be because that shade of yellow really suits the car and is particularly desirable or the yellow paint is only offered on a limited-edition trim. The difference in price yellow paint can add is most easily judged on new cars.
